Sale of Futuremost Group to Elliotts
We are delighted to have acted for the shareholders of Futuremost Group Limited in the recent sale to Elliott Brothers (Builders Merchants) Limited.
This acquisition was a strategic sale and a significant step in Elliott’s strategy to provide its customers with a ‘complete one-stop shop’.
Futuremost was established 36 years ago as a manufacturer of bespoke aluminium and PVC window units. Operating from a prime location that offers access across the whole of the south and into the UK, the company serves customers such as large building contractors and construction firms in markets such as care homes, hospitals, prisons and bespoke home builds.
Founded in 1842, Elliotts are a leading independent builder’s merchant operating across Hampshire and Dorset. Open to the trade and public, their portfolio includes Elliotts Builders Merchants, Elliotts Living Spaces, and Elliotts Premier Roofing. With a rich heritage, they are one of the oldest family-run businesses in the UK and attribute their success to being customer centric as well as stocking thousands of products.
The deal was co-ordinated on the sell-side by TheNonExec Limited (M&A and CF), Steele Raymond LLP (legal) and MMO Accountants (tax).
We are delighted to have played a part in helping these two well established companies come together. Congratulations to all involved in this deal. We wish both parties a very successful future.
